Good to know:

I love all things related to art and nature. I am passionate about volunteering with and organizing projects related to human, environmental and animal rights. I am so grateful for the opportunity to teach Yoga with all the physical, emotional and spiritual benefits it encompasses. When I am not teaching or on my mat you will probably find me with a big cup of tea and a long book.

I love yoga because:

Yoga as a practice on and off the mat continues to teach me about finding balance and opening my heart to new experiences. While also helping me to find new perspective and embrace all the perfectly imperfect parts of myself and my surroundings. Yoga is teaching me the importance of self love and continues to remind me to meet my practice and my life with a gentle lightness of heart.

I am a certified Reiki healer kick starting my passion for overall wellness. I feel strongly about the food we choose and how it effects ourselves and the environment around us.

My interest lie in crystals/gemstones and their metaphysical healing properties, sacred geometry, and manifesting ones dearest desires!

Attending yoga practices has truly moved me, I feel blessed to assist others every day on a path towards a conscious way of being.

I moved to Camrose in 2014 and still delight in encountering rabbits and deer in my backyard. My great loves are my husband and our rescue cat, yoga, travel, nature, books, vegan baking, and urban cycling.

I Love Yoga Because:

It is so much more than a physical practice. Yoga is a tradition simultaneously dynamic and centuries-old that reminds us that we humans are made up of not just minds but also spirits and bodies. Yoga resists the tendency to compartmentalize these parts of ourselves and invites us to explore them in tandem, taking what we learn off our mat and into our interactions with the world around us.

Good to know:

I’m a mother of almost six year old twin girls. I work at the Casino and for the OSCAR after-school care program. So I’m like lots of moms; I do way too much; I want it all. So I need yoga. I like to teach it to those who need it too. No judgment from me if you haven’t been on your mat in forever or if you’re hair’s a mess or you fall asleep in savasana. I’ll be satisfied if I can bring the tiniest bit of balance back to a crazy life; yours or mine.

I love yoga because:

 It can be anything: The tiniest of movement, breathing, listening. Or it can be a month-long course, an hour long class, or a constant exercise in mindfulness. No matter what life you live, yoga fits in. Yoga is life-long learning and I love the way it allows people to grow.

Good to Know:

I am a mother to three wonderful daughters who are growing into amazing young women. I have a love of healthy active living, as I find the benefits go past the physical and influence my mental well-being. I began my journey to become a fitness instructor in July 2015, and I am ecstatic to be fulfilling my dream of helping others experience the benefits of active living.

I love yoga because…

It helps ground me. It provides an opportunity to calm my mind and focus on my breathing and body, as does all exercise. It is about accepting your body as it is today. Also without yoga I may not have made it through university while raising children.

I love the feeling of breath cycling through my body, recharging all my cells. Yoga brings me into touch with my physical and spiritual self and creates a safe space to explore my deepest desires, fears and opportunities.
