Cultivate Healthy Habits
Join us at this three-weekend course to cultivate healthy habits, explore the root cause of addiction, and gain understanding and choice with your behaviour. Suitable for people in recovery, health practitioners, yoga teachers and anyone seeking positive change and guidance in developing a spiritual practice. The course includes a 4 month home practice program with online yoga videos and teaching clips from Dr. Gabor Maté, a 500 page manual and weekly group support for 4 months after the course.
You will learn to:
- Use Kundalini Yoga and meditation to rejuvenate body, mind and spirit
- Utilize yogic techniques to decrease cravings
- Restore the nervous system, brain, frontal lobe and adrenal glands with yoga and naturopathic therapies

Sat Charan Simran, B.S.W., is a certified Kundalini Yoga Teacher, a Beyond Addiction instructor and trainer, an Addiction Counsellor, a student of Ayurvedic Medicine, and a Social Worker of 25 years. Sat Charan Simran managed the Beyond Addiction Program in Vancouver 2012 and teaches weekly support yoga classes in the Beyond Addiction program in Vancouver, BC.
She has a passion for wholistic health, spirituality, counselling, and supporting others to achieve optimal wellness – physically, mentally, and spiritually.
Sat Charan Simran has taught yoga to individuals and groups at various locations for several years, and has supported and counselled people facing life challenges for 25 years.
Soraya (Fateh Bir Kaur), B.A, RM, has been actively teaching Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan since 2011 and has worked in the Yoga Community since 2002. A restorative and Vinyasa Teacher, Sound Journey and Gong Facilitator and Reiki Master, Fateh Bir studied different styles of yoga in Brazil, the US, England and Canada. She became involved with the Beyond Addiction program in 2012 and has been offering classes and workshops in Vancouver, Canada since then. She is especially interested in the physiological benefits of Yoga on neurotransmitter balance and brain function. Her passion and love for yoga and sound journey have benefited many in her community.

Travel, Meals and Accommodations
Travel: Sacred Arts is in Camrose, about 1 hour’s drive southeast of Edmonton. There are car rentals and shuttle services from the Edmonton International Airport.
Yogic Diet Meal Plans: Sacred Arts is offering a vegan gluten-free whole-foods meal plan for those who want to simplify their training experience. Lunch and dinner are provided and include a bowl, snack and beverage (a smoothie for lunch and yogi tea for dinner). You can add this meal plan when you register.
